The final day of trekking takes us to the village of Askole, where we say goodbye to our porters, who will return to their villages.
After an early start, we drive to Skardu through the lush Shigar Valley. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and enjoy a free afternoon for sightseeing around the town.
Option A: If the weather permits, we will fly to Islamabad. After landing, we'll transfer to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Option B: In case of flight cancellation, we'll drive to Chilas and overnight at a hotel by the Indus River.
This is an extra “cushion” day. It serves as a backup in case there are any delays in travel due to weather, route changes, health, or acclimatization issues encountered during the trek.
After breakfast, we conclude the trip in Islamabad. Participants are free to explore the city or head to the airport for their return flights.
