Itinerary
Day 1 :
Arrival in Islamabad
Weather permitting, enjoy a spectacular flight to Skardu, offering breathtaking views of Nanga Parbat (8,124m) and K2 (8,611m). If the flight is canceled due to weather, drive 10–12 hours via the Karakoram Highway to Chilas. Overnight stay in Chilas or Besham.
Day 3 :
Drive to Skardu (275 km)
Continue the journey to Skardu, taking in stunning views of the Karakoram Range, including Nanga Parbat. Upon arrival, visit local landmarks such as Kachura Lake or explore the vibrant Skardu town. Overnight stay at Masherbrum Hotel, Skardu.
Day 4 :
Drive to Askole (3,000m)
Travel by jeep through the picturesque Shigar and Braldu valleys to Askole, the last inhabited village before the trek begins. Marvel at the traditional Balti villages with terraced fields and orchards. Overnight camping in Askole.
Day 5 :
Trek to Namla (3,650m)
Begin the trek with a 6–8 hour hike, crossing the Biafo Glacier's snout. Enjoy your first glimpses of the Paiyu Group peaks. Overnight camping in Namla.
Day 6 :
Trek to Mango (3,700m)
Trek for approximately 7 hours on Biafo Glacier's rocky moraine, with occasional ablation valleys. The challenging terrain is rewarded with stunning glacial landscapes. Overnight camping in Mango.
Day 7 :
Trek to Baintha (4,000m)
Cross the white Biafo Glacier to reach Baintha, a lush meadow offering majestic views of the Latok Peaks. The 6-hour trek involves navigating challenging glacier sections. Overnight camping in Baintha.
Day 8 :
Acclimatization Day at Baintha
Rest and explore the surrounding area. Options include short hikes, climbing a nearby ridge for panoramic views, or relaxing at camp. Overnight camping in Baintha.
Day 9 :
Trek to Marphogoro (4,400m)
Trek for 6–8 hours across the expansive Biafo Glacier, surrounded by dramatic peaks like The Ogre (7,813m). Overnight camping in Marphogoro.
Day 10 :
Trek to Snow Lake (4,800m)
A 6–7 hour trek leads to Snow Lake, a magical expanse of ice and snow surrounded by towering mountains. At night, step out of your tent to witness the mesmerizing starry sky. Overnight camping at Snow Lake.
Day 11 :
Trek to Hispar Pass (5,151m)
A challenging 6–7 hour hike ascends the pass, offering jaw-dropping views of the Biafo and Hispar glaciers. Witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the Karakoram peaks. Overnight camping at the pass.
Day 12 :
Trek to Kani Basa (4,500m)
Descend the Hispar Pass on a long 8-hour trek, crossing crevasses and icy terrain before arriving at the grassy Kani Basa campsite. Enjoy views of Kanjut Sar (7,760m). Overnight camping in Kani Basa.
Day 13 :
Trek to Jutmal (4,200m)
Cross the Jutmal Glacier during a 7-hour trek. Navigate through a maze of ice walls and climb a steep cliff to reach the stunning Jutmal campsite. Overnight camping in Jutmal.
Day 14 :
Trek to Bitanmal (3,600m)
A challenging 8-hour trek crosses the Pumory Glacier and streams. Climb cliffs and navigate ablation valleys to reach the serene Bitanmal campsite. Overnight camping in Bitanmal.
Day 15 :
Trek to Falaling Chhish (3,600m)
This 4-hour trek crosses the Kunyang Glacier and leads to a beautiful shepherd’s meadow. Enjoy views of Makrong Chhish (6,607m) across the Hispar Glacier. Overnight camping in Falaling Chhish.
Day 16 :
Trek to Hispar Village (3,400m)
A gentle 4-hour walk crosses streams and a bridge over the Hispar River. Ascend to Hispar village, the first inhabited settlement since Askole. Overnight camping in Hispar Village.
A short trek ends the epic journey. From Huru, drive to the stunning Hunza Valley. Overnight stay in Hunza.
Day 18 :
Drive to Besham (1,280m)
Embark on a 10–12 hour drive to Besham, with stops for photography and refreshments along the way. Overnight stay in Besham.
Day 19 :
Drive to Islamabad
Drive back to Islamabad (7 hours), stopping en route to visit the Taxila Museum. Explore artifacts from ancient Gandhara civilization, including Buddhist, Hindu, and Jain relics. Overnight stay in Islamabad.
Spend a free day relaxing or take an optional excursion to Murree, the former British hill station. Enjoy a farewell dinner in Rawalpindi. Overnight stay in Islamabad.

Departure from Islamabad
